Events/4. Regional Forum

Regional forum "Climate change as regional challenge"

Patron: Dr. Matthias Rößler, President of the Saxon Parliament

Good quality of life, a healthy economy, unspoilt countryside – who doesn’t desire all of these? Dresden and its surroundings posses such public goods today; and it is hoped will continue to do so into the future.
To ensure this, it is imperative that we act now!

There is no doubt that climate change will affect the region, and thus it is necessary to identify at an early stage where the opportunities and dangers lie. All sections of society must play their part.

The most important steps we must undertake will be described by the REGKLAM project – Regional Climate Adaption Programme for the Model Region Dresden – at a regional forum in November.

You are warmly invited to participate in this event, when the model regional Dresden prepares for the future.
